Serenity Now!

I don't think that I've ever read the entire serenity prayer until today but by golly today was the perfect day for me to see it. The above shot is from the Taos Pueblo church with the mountains in the background. Here it is:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

I have never heard the whole thing either. The first part I know well and repeat often :) Thanks for sharing the whole thing

Beautiful picture to go along with a beautiful prayer.

As with Ann, I never knew the whole prayer. It is so wise and expresses such true inspiration. Love the photo as well. Very nice.

That is awesome! I love the picture almost as much as the prayer.

Amen! I don't think I knew that there was more to that prayer before. Thanks!
