Crafting It Forward

So I recently did a crafting it Forward on Facebook where I committed to sending something handmade to the first 5 who responded to my Facebook note. I found a similar idea to pay if forword for bloggers on Cheese and Chocolate's blog that I replied to so I will be getting a box of fun stuff from her neck of the woods soon.

I'm going to do it a combination of the 2 ideas. I will be crafting it forward to 3 people who commit to pay it forward on their own blog or in their own community. I'm going to have to limit it to the U.S. unfortunately to keep shipping costs down. If more than 3 people reply to this post by the end of this week, 4-25-09, I'll draw 3 names from a hat. The 3 people will be getting something hand knit from me of my choice. It could be a fashion scarf, a wrist cuff, or possibly even a pouch.

Ooh, very fun! I could craft it forward with knit washcloths and/or something from my Upcycled Notebook series.

Oooohhhh Me! Me! Meeeeee, Paige - pick ME! lol Then maybe I could wipe the drool off my computer screen - it's collecting pretty badly from oagling your designs! ;)

I try to do a Pay it Forward every month - that is what my Woot Loot is all about. It isn't sponsored and no one pays me for it - I just like the idea of making someone happy by sending them something. I've given away watches, bracelets, rubber stamps - and this month's prize is a book. :) I love PiF - it's always way fun to get something really cool in the mail!

I waaaaaaannnaaaa win! :) And I defy commenters 4+ to get past me. I can be Queen Evil when necessary...Just ask my kids...especially the ones I sold to the gypsies because they wouldn't behave! muwahahaha

Oooo...I've seen the pay it forward going around, but I really like this morph of the idea. Craft it forward, I'd love to participate in that!
